EXP-1 FINAL
Custom Machinima
The idea of this Machinima indicated is “Collision”. I thought the explosion is just like a kind of crash. The intensive explosion impacts the objects, and brings various effects of the diffusion of the objects. Additionally, the 3 dimensional filed composed of the grids that I created is supposed to test the diffusion of the objects on porosity. From this clip, we could see the small size objects diffused to a large range, and the range decreases as the increase of the size of objects. Moreover, I put an additional experiment of medium objects to highlight the “Collision” idea of explosion.
Found Machinima
In this Found Machinima, I introduced the source of the explosion idea of my own Custom Machinima. The man shot the planes with a rocket, and made a powerful explosion among the objects. This explosion was just like a process of colliding. Then, an explosion among the boats was arisen, which indicate the diffusion of the objects on porosity.

Observational Mode
I suppose the type of mode I would be using for my video would be the observational mode. The idea that I want to express of the explosion is “Collision”. So I established four pieces of “surface”, which were composed with four different kinds of objects with small, medium and large sizes separately, in GMOD. As I wanted to show the physical effect of the four different objects, exploded on one side, I took four different views for all of them, which were front, back, air and side views, to observe the porosity characteristics of the four “surfaces”. Therefore, the effect of the explosion and the diffusion of the objects could be clearly and roundly revealed. Meanwhile, from these views, we could also make a direct comparison between the four kinds of objects, and see their distinct states of diffusion under the explosion.
Hypothesis
In this experiment, I will approach an explosion on the surface of a “wall”, which is actually a stack of objects of different sizes. I predicted that the explosion would act like a kind of collision. The “surface” would be smashed. And because of the exchange of energy, the different objects would diffuse with different states.
